Formed in 1985, Highwaymen were an American country music supergroup that recorded three studio albums between 1985 and 1995. Their recording of the Jimmy Webb song "Highwayman" reached No. 1 on the US country charts, and Highwayman 2 received a Grammy nomination. The group toured intermittently through the 1990s and their recordings have been reissued and anthologized.
