Artistic Director and choreographer Christos Papadopoulos is a leading figure in Greek contemporary dance. The recent winner of Sadler’s Wells’ prestigious Rose International Dance Prize, Papadopoulos is renowned for creating minimalist dance works of striking musicality. In the company’s debut Canadian tour, My Fierce Ignorant Step features ten dancers building an ecstatic soundscape of voice and movement rooted in the sonic memories of Papadopoulos’ childhood in Greece.
