I Want Your Sex

Gregg Araki has made a career of irreverently challenging our sexual mores. In his highly entertaining new film, “I Want Your Sex,” he gleefully takes on the purportedly prudish Gen Z, and thanks to one of his best casts ever, the results are hilarious. The boyish, unfocused Elliot (Cooper Hoffman, excellent) is recently out of school and already stuck in a relationship in which sex is a total yawn, when it happens at all. But life in the bedroom takes a kinky turn when Elliot somehow snags a job at a “hipster sweatshop,” where he quickly falls under the influence of iconic art provocateur Erika Tracy (a fabulous Olivia Wilde) With the flick of a wrist, she adds the younger and bashfully compliant Elliot to her list of boy toy conquests. The initial office interview scene — Erika’s confident but wildly inappropriate sexuality, coupled with Elliot’s nervous, polite curiosity — is an instant comedy set-piece classic that won’t be included in any HR training materials.-SF Chronicle “ I Want Your Sex is one for the weirdos; prudes need not apply.”-The Hollywood News
