In this “stand up dramedy” retrospective of her 1997 “Eclectic Chairs” Patricia relates, with poignancy and humour, the Life Lessons Learned at various stages of life, from kindergarten to grandmother.
This show was originally performed at Fringe Festivals in Victoria, Vancouver, Duncan, Nanaimo and Kelowna in 1997 and was declared “just a damned good show.” This recap contains some of the wisdom and humour of the original show, amended by the “progress” of the last three decades. So much has changed, so much has not.

About the Artist
Patricia Zogar has been involved (a lot) in community and (a little) in professional theatre for almost 40 years in Victoria, Sooke, Winnipeg, Kamloops, Ladysmith and Nanaimo and has enjoyed such roles as Grace in “Grace and Glorie”, Aoife in “Outside Mullingar”, Martha in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” and has self-directed and performed the 14 wonderful characters in “The Search for Signs of Intelligent life in the Universe”. Recently returned to Victoria after 17 years “away” she is enjoying rewriting and revising this show and looks forward to dispensing her even greater wisdom.
