In Morphaces debut full-length show, we explore the answers to these questions through movement, maskwork, and theatrical storytelling. Witness the characters of Grief, Joy, Power, and Curiosity as they collide with one another, resolving their animosity through balanced dissolution of self. In this immersive audio-visual experience, come discover a world where feeling isn’t what you know, affect can be taken on and revoked again, and where conflict can arise through greed and tensions. Each member brings their unique gifts to the collaborative vision – from contortion to experimental theatre, to belly dance, and improv movement. They came together in the summer of 2024, frequently creating on the festival circuit and at local music shows.
